So far, the growth of Fortress company was based on international commercial transactions and provision of services to companies from the two fastest growing markets in the world, i.e. Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. The international contacts were initiated over 10 years ago.

At present, the company carries on foreign trade with such countries as France, Belgium, the Czech Rep., Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Lithuania, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Pakistan, Korea, India, Indonesia.

The company has a broad experience in import and distribution of textile articles from Asia. It has also created clothes and shoe collection under its own brand Gato. Having perceived an opportunity for making business in foodstuffs import, Fortress entered into cooperation with European manufacturers. The company’s experience and skills in dealing with customers enabled it to gain new qualifications and, as a result, Fortress introduced its own brand for foodstuffs, i.e. the Vitalo brand.

At present, some of Polish largest trade and distribution chains, including Auchan Polska, Tesco, Kaufland, L´Eclerc, Jeronimo Martins (Biedronka), Netto and Polomarket, are among Fortress’ customers.

Fortress also offers promotional products that support high volume promotion campaigns of both foreign and domestic brands. The company has an access to a wide range of products, and through its personnel’s efforts and invention in conceiving new promotional items, it contributes to achievement of promotion objectives of its customers. Fortress has gained confidence of well-known companies of the FMCG sector, including Unilever, L’Oréal, Maspex, Tchibo, Coty, Felix, Bongrain, of publishing houses, including H. Bauer, G+J Gruner + Jahr, and of banks, including Lucas Bank.

The dynamics and attractiveness of the construction goods market were the reasons for entering a new business area. Fortress supplemented its business scope with import and distribution of construction products, i.e. thermal insulation materials, including glass wool and rock wool.
